FHD® 16 Fibers Elite MTP®-8 to LC Duplex Fiber Optic Plug-N-Play Cassette, 16 Strands OM4 50/125μm MMF

FHD® (FS High Density) series MTP® fiber cassette modules offer an 8-fiber MTP® adapter on the rear of the units routed to 8 duplex LC adapters on the front patch field, which interconnect with high density fiber cable assemblies for multiple applications. The MTP®-8 cassette is ideal for deployments including 40G to 10G, 100G to 25G and 400G to 100G. Universal polarity to be used at both ends of a Method B trunk reduces the complexity of a fiber network, ensuring consistent polarity, and streamlining network maintenance.

Corresponding to the line sequence of the rear MTP® adapters (12-fiber connector leaves 4 fibers empty in the middle), the front LC adapters are optimized to be arranged horizontally in each group, which conforms to the customer's usage behavior. The cassette is suitable for conventional 3-tier cabling schemes and spine-leaf cabling schemes. This Base-8 MTP® fiber cassette is designed to upgrade existing LC links to SR4 parallel optics without wasting any of the fibers inside the cable.

Features
Provide Connection and Deployment Quickly

FHD® (FS High Density) fiber optic cassettes snap quickly into the enclosures and modular design makes it easier to deploy or expand your infrastructure as your future network speed rates grow.

Clear Numbering

Visible port identification helps to follow array connection

Zirconia Ceramic Sleeves

Quicker and safer installation, prevent dust without dust caps

Double-layer Fixing Structure

Security panel improves installation and connection stability

Ultra Low Insertion Loss for Stable & Reliable Network

With US Conec MTP® connectors and Corning fibers, it assures low insertion loss and power penalties in tight power budgets, high-speed network environments.

Realization of the Spine-leaf Connection with Port Breakout
Using the MTP® cassettes freely creates a cross-connect by breaking out all QSFP28 ports at the spine. This eliminates latency times of east-west traffic, and maintains redundancy.
Horizontal LC Adapters in Each Group
The arrangement is optimized to conform to the usage behavior
MTP® Adapters Route to LC Adapters
The cassette type is for conventional 3-Tier and spine-leaf cabling
Versatile Solutions for Different Network Requirements
Up to 64 LC fibers in 1U space, the cassettes can be mounted in FHD® (FS High Density) series enclosures for data center or enterprise cabling.
