The QSFP-DD DCO transceiver provides 400GBASE-ZR throughput up to 120km using EDFA over single-mode fiber (SMF) via an LC/UPC connector. It can operate at temperatures between 0 and 70°C. Digital optical monitoring (DOM) support is also present to allow access to real-time operating parameters. It is intended to be used in conjunction with a host platform to support 400G transmission over optical links in DCI applications.
