Transceiver Tool Kit for FS Transceivers & DAC/AOC Cables, Yellow

FS BOX V4 only works with FS Transceivers & DAC/AOC Cables. It is designed to achieve multiple functions such as online configuration, diagnosing and troubleshooting, wavelength tuning for tunable transceivers, box pro, and so on. The FS BOX V4 has a built-in lithium battery and can also support Bluetooth connectivity. With its instant online platform airmodule.fs.com and a wide range of configuration choices, engineers could configure in a timely and effective way.

Please notice that HPE compatible SFP+/SFP28/XFP/QSFP+/QSFP28/QSFP-DD transceivers, all the 40G BiDi transceivers, and 25G SFP28 Loopback Module are currently not supported by FS Box to reconfigure due to hardware restriction. Any attempt may cause irreversible damage to your transceivers.

    The functionality of the new box is far superior than the V2 we had, we love the use of the app for programming and it makes setup and programming much easier. However we had lots of trouble getting the drivers to work on PC and MAC, took some work to get the PC working and the MAC still doesnt like it and has yet to work for us. The MAC doesnt like the software because it sees it as an unverified developer. I would say use the app for all programming anyway since it is so much easier and it connects to the phone via bluetooth.

    Wow, this is going to completely change interactions with customers, I can walk into a client site with a bag of generic DACs and SFPs and basically no matter equipment they have bought, im confident of getting it connected and working on the spot, I'm not going to have to tell them that because they got a great deal on switch X means I have to got order a different SFP to work with the existing switch Y, which is going to mean days to order, and days to make room in schedule to come back.
